Here I post things from the mundane to the profound,
from technology to culture, religion and politics,
from computer security to podcasts,
from entertainment to educational links,
to the end of the world as we know it.

Griffith's Pond

Back on Cape Cod
I'm back on cape cod and glad about it even though i am on the verge of bancruptcy and foreclosure. My sister and step sister seemed less than glad about it. perhaps even downright disappointed. perhaps mom's house is overpriced. lets get this thing over already. i'll post some photos soon.

Deer
When I lived in eastern PA for 2 summers [ 20 years ago ] I killed a deer w/my car. I have also killed 2 deer as a cabbie in VT. So I expected being in PA 2007 I would see deer. I just thought it would be in greenfield or oakdale or imperial, or coraopolis. I saw a deer at 7pm monday right around the corner of my house! I had been viewing the pushed down tall grass across the street from my bedroom window as a possible deer bed- but thought that was absurd... the idea of deer in hazelwood. It really made me feel better about living here. PTL.
Chuck Missler on the EU
I thought this was interesting from chuck missler
In recent years the European Union has steadily moved forward in its attempt to unite Europe politically and economically. It has succeeded in unifying and strengthening its economic market, creating a common currency, and establishing both a European legislative and judicial system. It has been suggested by some that the European Union may be the revived Roman Empire. Thus it is interesting to note that the introduction of the Euro is the first time since the days of Caesar and the Roman Empire that Europe has had a common currency, others have tried, most notably Napoleon Bonaparte, but none were successful. We will continue to observe with anticipation the historic developments taking place in Europe.
